No! Traditionally, flower girl dresses were white to match that of the bride, but these days it’s completely fine to add some colour into the mix. If you’re still looking for a traditional white dress, there are plenty of beautiful, classic options. But if you’re after something a little different, a pastel hue can be just as pretty!

No, flower girl dresses don’t have to match those of the bridesmaids. In fact, many brides prefer to differentiate the flower girls so that they have their own unique style. If there are multiple flower girls, you might consider coordinating their dresses, but a range of complimenting styles will still look just as cute!

Yes, there can be more than one flower girl. In fact, we think having two or three is a great idea! This way, your flower girls have someone to share the day with and it takes some of the pressure off their shoulders. If one of your flower girls is slightly older, she can use her maturity to help to guide and supervise the little ones. Our dresses range from teen to toddler, and we also have a dedicated collection of baby flower girl dresses.

There’s no right or wrong answer, but the flower girl’s parents are traditionally responsible for paying for the flower girl’s outfit and accessories. It’s a nice gesture to include these costs within the wedding budget, but it’s not essential or expected. Either way, it’s good to communicate this early on, as well as any style guidelines or outfit ideas.

As tempting as it might be to purchase immediately, do your best to hold off ordering until a couple of months in advance. This still gives you plenty of time to ensure the dress fits and is comfortable, but also minimises the risk of any unexpected growth spurts!
